Van Egmond House-Museum The historic Van Egmond House Museum, operated by the not for profit Van Egmond Foundation.

The historic Van Egmond House Museum, owned and operated by the Van Egmond Foundation is an excellent example of a fine country manor house dating to the mid 19th century. The house which was built in 1846 has been carefully restored and furnished with antiques representative of the period prior to confederation. The house with it's period and contemporary exhibits provide a glimpse into pioneer l

ife, the history of this area, and the story of the Van Egmond family who played a prominent role in developing the region.

Nearly ready to open this room! It will be safe to open the upstairs to visitors again, although the Van Egmond room itself is still closed for display changes.

If you have visited the museum before, please come again and see all the exciting changes!
