What a wonderful evening at the Gallery on Wednesday! 🪕 Keith Alessi brought Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, But Banjos Saved My Life to Assiniboia for a fundraiser concert.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, $1,006 was donated to the Shurniak Art Gallery and $1,006 to Assiniboia Union Hospital.

A heartfelt thank you to the Assiniboia and District Arts Council for hosting the event and choosing our two organizations as recipients. Thank you as well to our Gallery volunteers for preparing the delicious angel food cake and refreshments!

And of course, thank you to Keith for sharing his music and story with us.
