The Arnprior Art Loft is proud to welcome two new artists to our venue - Heather Zack-Malcolm ands Anne Heather Moore. Come out and join us on Saturday, October 17 from 1-4 as we celebrate our third anniversary and welcome these two new artists. We will have live music by Don Lacasse and cookies from The Wright Cookies.

The weather was dull cold and windy but the colours were exceptional. Our plein air group visited Fitzroy Provincial Park yesterday for our weekly outing.

The plein air group met yesterday afternoon and was able to get an hour and a half in of sketching before the rain chased us away. The colours of the trees were glorious. Can you guess from the pictures where we were sketching?

The plein air group met today and the weather was perfect - not too hot, not too cold, and no bugs.
We sketched below the dam at the Madawaska Bridge. As we were sketching, we heard the alarms go off warning of a release of water from the head pond. A few minutes later, water began to pour over the dam which had previously been dry. The timing was perfect.

The Art Circle met from 10-12 today for a comfortable morning of shared creativity. We meet every Saturday, and everyone is welcome.
A reminder that we start plein air this Wednesday September 23 at 1 pm at the Arnprior Museum. This is a free chance to try plein air with a like minded group. Consider joining us.
The Arnprior Art Loft will be celebrating its 3rd anniversary on Saturday afternoon, October 17th from 1-4. Come join us.
We will be welcoming a Dada installation at the Art Loft from Oct 5-25. Check it out.
