It will be three years next month that the Arnprior Art Loft opened its doors. We have been blessed with wonderful volunteers, and exceptional artists who continue to display their works at the Arnprior Art Loft. The public is cordially invited to come to our open house on Saturday ,October 17 from 1-4.

The Arnprior Art Loft has often been asked about art classes. We encourage artists already exhibiting in the Art Loft to offer classes, and any other local artists to approach us if the would like to offer classes at the Art Loft.
Tell us what you would like to see:
Adult, children or mixed?
A one-off or a few weeks?
What day and what time of day?
What media? The choice is endless!!

The Art circle continues to happen every Saturday. Two new comfy chairs have been added to our decor. We continue to enjoy music on Saturday mornings with Don Lacasse. Watch out for lots of posts and activities over the next few months.

I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks, not because the Art Circle isn’t meeting but because our numbers have been smaller. With the summer weather we have been having, people are understandably out enjoying it. This morning, we had a lively group of participants and Don’s music. I am posting a video instead of pictures so you can appreciate the nature of our Saturday morning get togethers. Lots of music, lots of chatting, lots of creativity. Everyone welcome.

Check out new paintings by Elizabeth(Liz) Campbell at the Arnprior Art Loft. The new series is called “Scenes from Arnprior” and features paintings of The Grove, The Vintage Crate, Robert Simpson Park (before renovations) and The Flavour Container Ice Cream Shack.

This Sunday morning the Arnprior Art Loft participated in Johnnys Vintage Arnprior Art Crawl along with other talented artisans. What a great event. We met lots of people, applied lots of paint using various methods, encouraged kid and adults alike to express themselves on one big and several small canvases. What a great time.!! Thank you to all who supported, encouraged, and actually applied some paint to canvas. We hope to do it again.
