The Fibre Art Divas have created a collection of 20+ fibre artworks representing "Moments".

The group formed in 2014 to share their mutual interest in the fibre arts.

This exhibit showcases a number of skillfully executed fibre art techniques, including hand-dyed fabrics, applique, machine quilting, wet and needle felting, thread painting, and embroidery.

Check it out on the second floor of the gallery.
On until September 20th, 2026.

Mark your calendars, the 5th annual Blue House Market and the Pembina Valley Studio Tour are happening!

Pembina Valley Studio Tour:
Saturday, September 12, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday, September 13, 11:00am - 5:00pm (note some studios only open at noon on the Sunday, Gallery in the Park will be open at 11am, as per our usual hours).

The Blue House Market takes place on Saturday only, so if you want to see the current exhibitions without any interruptions, Sunday is your best bet for visiting!

We hope to see you there!

People Build Houses, Families Build Homes

This exhibit of 16 character homes found right here in Altona were built by people, but are lived in by families.

Greta Loeppky, a long term past resident of Altona, depicts the houses in a whimsical style, noting the town has always had a special place in her heart.

Greta's work is on the second floor of the gallery, on display until September 20th, 2026.

On our last open day of season one, Kathy Levandoski will be speaking about her exhibitions, Gossamer & Ground and Journey into Brassica, on the main floor of the gallery.

Join us at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 30th to hear about Kathy's inspirations, processes, and feel free to engage her with questions.

The talk will be about an hour.
Light refreshments will be available.
