Last weekend we hosted our very first Lights at the Museum: Old Time Fair and Barn Dance. 🌻🪕🍿

We had a lot of fun and we hope the community did as well! This event would not have been possible without our amazing partners Airdrie Festival of Lights and Airdrie Horticultural Society and our volunteers from YVC and all other volunteers who spent the day with us!

Need plans for the weekend? Spend the day with us at the Nose Creek Valley Museum where there's something happening from noon right through the evening.

1️⃣ FREE Family Fair (12 PM – 6 PM)
Bring the whole family for classic carnival games, a beautiful Garden Show, and plenty of old-fashioned fun—all with FREE admission!

2️⃣ Beer Garden & Line Dancing (2 PM – 10 PM)
Visit the AFOLS Beer Garden, and enjoy fun line dancing demonstrations.

3️⃣ Barn Dance with Live Music (6 PM – 11 PM)
Finish the day at the AFOLS Barn Dance featuring The Port City Maniacs, bringing high-energy music to keep you dancing all night long.

💡 Good to know: Admission to the event grounds, tent, and dance is completely free to attend! For those 18+ who wish to purchase alcoholic beverages, a $5 age verification wristband will be required (drinks are extra).

Whether you're coming for the fair, the music, or the community atmosphere, there's something waiting for everyone. We can't wait to see you there! 🎉
