Exciting milestones for science education and global collaboration! π
The UNESCO Science Clubs Network continues to empower young people through STEM, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving as part of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development. With more than 320 science clubs across 40+ countries, the network is creating stronger global connections through hands-on learning, capacity building, and knowledge exchange.
This year, UNESCO launched the Asia-Pacific edition of the Science Clubs Network alongside a Train-the-Trainer Workshop in Beijing, held from 24β29 April 2026, in collaboration with the World Organization for Science Literacy (WOSL), China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM), Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums (CANSM), and BOE Technology Group.
The six-day programme brought together trainers from across the Asia-Pacific region for lectures, hands-on workshops, site visits, and collaborative learning sessions focusing on STEM education, maker education, and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in science learning.
We are proud to share that Seria Energy Lab, as a member of the World Organization for Science Literacy, was represented by our Lead of Exhibition and Education, Allen Jaffran, who participated in this international capacity-building programme.
Hereβs to building stronger science communities, inspiring future innovators, and strengthening STEM education across the region β¨
