🇺🇸On Monday, May 25—to mark Memorial Day—I placed bouquets of red, white and blue flowers on 20 tombs of soldiers laid to rest at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial. In doing so, I was assisted by American friends: Jeff and Jackie Hays, David Garrett (the son of a veteran friend from the 99th Infantry Division), and Matt Valentino, the ANGLO for Geilenkirchen, with his wife and their young daughter, Sophie.

Etats-Unis, j'ai placé des bouquets bleu, blanc, rouge sur 20 tombes de soldats reposant au cimetière américain d'Henri-Chapelle. Ce faisant, j'ai été aidée par des amis américains: Jeff et Jackie, Hays, David Garrett qui est le fils d'un ami vétéran de la 99ème Division
d'Infanterie et Matt Valentino qui est l'ANGLO de Geilenkirchen.
Celui-çi était présent avec son épouse et leur petite fille: Sophie.

I was privileged to again attend this year’s ceremony May 9 to honor the memory of 11 African American Soldiers from the 333rd Field Artillery Regiment who were massacred during World War II. US Ambassador Bill White was one of our guest speakers.

🇺🇸Our hearts go out to the families and units of these lost airmen. The 121st ARW (Ohio) and 117th ARW (Alabama) were regular visitors to the museum. May they rest in peace. 🙏

🇺🇸A few days before Marcel's passing, we were with great Americans from the 126th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) Illinois Air National Guard. We are so lucky to keep having these visits!

🇧🇪Quelques jours avant le décès de Marcel, nous étions vec nos amis américains de la 126th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) Illinois Air National Guard. Nous avons tellement de chance de continuer à avoir ces visites !
