Our Voices, Our Needs Exhibition

Our Voices, Our Needs Exhibition An exhibition of unseen voices of women from MYANMAR | 20th to 24th March 2024 | 33 Rue Simonis 1050

12/02/2025

Two-time Goya award-winning Spanish composer Lucas Vidal collaborated with Htet Arkar, and other traditional musicians from Myanmar — learning about their music, experiences and hopes during this current crisis.

“I wanted to test the power of music’s ability to transcend borders and bring people together, even in times of uncertainty."

He wants his music to shine a light on a country that is often overshadowed, and brings hope for a better future for the Myanmar people.
