Inner Landscapes van Nora Mahammed .borabora is een immersieve installatie bestaande uit tien cocons — ruimtes waar je echt in kunt stappen, elk verbonden met een andere innerlijke staat. Het is intiem, rustig en behoorlijk krachtig… een moment om te vertragen en opnieuw verbinding te maken met jezelf.

Een andere expressie van Artuel, een nieuwe artistieke stroming bij Octopus Heart — waar kunst niet alleen bekeken wordt, maar van binnenuit beleefd.

Inner Landscapes de Nora Mahammed .borabora est une installation immersive composée de dix cocons — des espaces dans lesquels tu peux réellement entrer, chacun touchant un état intérieur différent. C’est intime, calme, et assez puissant… un moment pour ralentir et te reconnecter.
Une autre expression d’Artuel, une nouvelle vague artistique à Octopus Heart — où l’art ne se regarde pas simplement, mais se vit de l’intérieur.

✨ Inner Landscapes
Ten cocoons, one inner journey.

At .be, Nora Mahammed .borabora -opens this Saturday 28/03 her installation — inviting you to travel through inner landscapes.

Freed from their original commission, the ten cocoons have become something new: a pure and autonomous work.

Each cocoon touches a different inner state —
to feel warm, shattered, isolated, held, luminous…
No longer illustrating something outside,
but inviting you to live the experience from within.

The sounds are no longer an album.
Each cocoon is tuned to its own human frequency — with personal recordings by Nora Mahammed and contributions from talented artists and healers as Anamaria (poetess), Brian (musician), and Morgan (sound alchemist).

You do not look at these works.

You move through them.

This is Artuel in its most embodied form —
an immersive architecture, layered and interwoven.

on the cocoons, the journey they went through, and what they have become today.

From an initial commission to a full transformation, spaces that regulate, soften, and guide the nervous system.

As she speaks, one of the Octopussies (the 2 white cat twins) settles on her lap…
then the second joins.

In her studio, fairies, sprites, and elves quietly come to life,� carrying softness, care, and a sense of wonder.� Self-taught, she shapes this miniature world with patience and love,� guided by tales, forests, and the simple joy of making.

In every Ombellule, she places a fragment of soul — a quiet, personal offering.
A reminder that magic lives within the everyday.
