Black. Yellow. Red. The 3 Belgian colours, rebuilt as architectural pieces.

Belgian sculptor and textile designer Marc Geysen works with nothing but slender rods, yet he builds whole landscapes out of them.

‘Belgian Cloud’ gives up on order altogether. Lines scatter and cross, and somehow it still stands.

‘The Pyramid’ leans into itself on long black legs, with bursts of red and yellow caught in its frame like weather passing through.

‘Belgian Building’ climbs like a scaffold to nowhere. Squares tilt and slip out of line, as if the structure is quietly arguing with its own floor plan. A very Belgian kind of construction.

Pay attention to the shadows as well. Every piece draws a second sculpture on the plinth beneath it.

Some painters observe nature, Hans Vandekerckhove submerges into it, to come back with a head full of colour.

Turquoise branches against a cobalt sky, a river of white light meandering through emerald fields. Indoors, a hydrangea bouquet in lime, lilac and violet, glowing against warm brown.

Vandekerckhove, one of Belgium’s most appreciated artists, is a passionate walker and it shows. Every canvas feels like a walk turned into colour.

How contemporary does this look? Well, think twice, it’s not modern. It’s from …1952!

French scultptor Pierre Dedieu (1928-2013) shaped this piece from wood, long before ´futuristic’ was a word anyone used for sculpture. Yet, here it is, all sharp facets and alien symmetry, decades ahead of its time.

This stunning piece is on view and for sale at Le Salon de Léon.

This late 19th-century Tibetan cabinet has survived more than a century, but still hasn’t lost any of its charm. The hand-painted peonies, branches and little birds - once in bright orange and yellow - have now settled into a warm, golden patina, the kind only a hundred years can give.

New in our gallery and truly unique!

Twenty years ago, these André Verroken furniture pieces stood in a single exhibition alongside work by Eduardo Chillida, the Basque sculptor Verroken admired above almost anyone else. It was the only time they were ever shown. Until now.

Verroken (Oudenaarde, 1939 – Ronse, 2020) is one of Flanders’ most celebrated furniture designers. He received 2 Henry van de Velde Awards and a place in the permanent collection of Design Museum Gent.

These prototypes are one-offs in the truest sense of the word. And for the first time ever, they’re not just on display, they’re for sale. Drop by to discover them in real life.

Belgian artist Patrick Vertenten likes to play with light, or the absence of it - his figures are never quite fully recognizable. Veiled behind lace. Dissolved into it. Turned away, just out of reach.

That same light carries the color - amber, ochre, gold - mysterious and warm at once, as if each figure were caught mid-reveal, half-lit and half-hidden.

Drop by in our gallery Le Salon de Léon to discover and admire a selection of his wonderful works.

In the spotlight: two faces of Val Saint Lambert crystal.

“Parisiana,” is a stunning coupe designed by Charles Graffart, in cased plum-and-white crystal and cut in a radiant starburst.

The green vase is known as ‘model V113’ and boasts emerald green beneath a cascade of hand-cut facets, its origins as elusive as its beauty.

Different colors, same obsession: light that refuses to sit still. Drop by to admire these Val Saint Lambert beauties in our gallery.

Simple, yet refined. Distilled, yet full of emotion.

There’s something in Mathieu Weemaels ‘ work that slows you down. A branch that’s barely still blooming. A rose slipped from its glass. A coat that’s become nothing but a silhouette. Nothing asks for attention - and that’s exactly why you look longer.

This mastery of stillness is on view and for sale Le Salon de Léon

Sacred space. Secular object. The link between the 2 is GRID - a ceramic sideboard handcrafted in Belgium by Devi Nestor Rotsen Vervaeke .

Stunning, colorful and unpredictable - the surprising line play and natural shine of the ceramics make it a piece without precedent. Every stripe, every glaze, every apparent imperfection: the hand of the maker, deliberately left visible.

In this chapel, on the very spot where the altar once stood, it feels less like furniture and more like an offering.

Available at Le Salon de Léon. Come and see this unique piece in our gallery.

A child lost in thought. That is what the painting first evokes. But the story goes a lot broader: Belgian painter .kenis portrayed his own son. And does that so delicately, with details that only a father could notice and only an excellent artist could paint.

Frank works in layers. Light bleeds through. Paint drips. The bonnet strings hang like brushstrokes that forgot to stop. This painting is tender and raw at the same time. But above all, quietly masterful.

Come and discover this monumental - but at the same time intimate - art piece in our galery .
