এতদ্বারা সর্বসাধারণের অবগতির জন্য জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, আগামী ২৫-০৫-২০২৬ হতে ০৭-০৬-২০২৬ তারিখ পর্যন্ত পবিত্র ঈদ-উল-আযহা ও গ্রীষ্মকালীন অবকাশের ছুটি উপলক্ষে বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের সকল শাখা বন্ধ থাকবে। আগামী ০৮-০৬-২০২৬ তারিখ যথারীতি অফিসের কার্যক্রম চলবে।

বিশ্বব্যাংকের হিট উপ-প্রকল্প টিমের সদস্যবৃন্দ, ইউজিসি-র প্রতিনিধিবৃন্দ এবং প্রকল্পের সাথে সংযুক্ত রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ও গবেষকরা একসাথে বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করেন।

বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম প্রাচীন প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক জাদুঘর, যেখানে প্রাচীন বরেন্দ্র অঞ্চলের ইতিহাস, শিল্পকলা ও সংস্কৃতির অমূল্য নিদর্শন সংরক্ষিত আছে। এই সফরের মাধ্যমে আন্তর্জাতিক উন্নয়ন কার্যক্রমের সাথে স্থানীয় ঐতিহ্য ও গবেষণার এক সুন্দর সংযোগ তৈরি হয়েছে।

Members of the World Bank’s Heat sub-project team, representatives from the University Grants Commission (UGC), and faculty and researchers associated with the project from Rajshahi University jointly visited the Varendra Research Museum.

The Varendra Research Museum is one of the oldest archaeological museums in Bangladesh, preserving invaluable artifacts of the ancient history, art, and culture of the Varendra region. This visit created a meaningful connection between international development initiatives and local heritage and research.

বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর, বাংলাদেশ সোশিও-কালচারাল ফোরাম (BSCF) এবং BSCF ইয়ুথ নেটওয়ার্কের যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত “হেরিটেজ হাইকিং” কর্মসূচির সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের পরিচালক প্রফেসর ড. কাজী মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের ডেপুটি লাইব্রেরিয়ান মো: আসলাম রেজা এবং প্রথম আলো পত্রিকার জেলা প্রতিনিধি আবুল কালাম মোহাম্মদ আজাদ। এছাড়াও অনুষ্ঠানে জুরি বোর্ডের অন্যান্য সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন BSCF-এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা নিলয় সাহা।

উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে প্রতিযোগীদের মাঝে পুরস্কার ও সনদপত্র প্রদান করা হয়, যা অংশগ্রহণকারীদের উৎসাহ ও অনুপ্রেরণা জোগাবে ভবিষ্যতে ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণ ও সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকাণ্ডে সক্রিয়ভাবে যুক্ত হতে।

The Varendra Research Museum, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Socio-Cultural Forum (BSCF) and the BSCF Youth Network, organized the closing ceremony of the “Heritage Hiking” program.

The event was graced by Professor Dr. Kazi Mostafizur Rahman, Director of the Varendra Research Museum, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Mr. Aslam Reza, Deputy Librarian of the museum, and Abul Kalam Mohammad Azad, District Correspondent of Prothom Alo. Members of the jury board were also present at the ceremony.

The program was presided over by Niloy Saha, Chief Executive Officer of BSCF.

During the ceremony, prizes and certificates were distributed among the participants, encouraging them to remain actively engaged in heritage preservation and cultural activities in the future.
