Taka Museum I টাকা জাদুঘর Bangladseh Bank Taka Museum is a specialized museum for currency. It is located on the 2nd floor of Visit Taka Museum and satiate your curious mind.

Taka Museum launched formally on 27th April, 2013 by Sheikh Hasina, Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The museum was inaugurated on 5th October, 2013 by Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, Honorable Speaker of the National Assembly and from then the museum is open for general people. The main objective for establishing the Taka Museum is to foster the chr

onological sequence of ancient coinage & currencies of Bengal as well as of the Indian subcontinent, its aesthetic presentation and to reveal the history of currencies of Bangladesh and rest of the world. Taka Museum has provided the opportunity to enhance currency related knowledge through enjoyment. Visiting Hours:

Saturday to Wednesday: 11.00 am to 5.00 pm

Thursday & Govt. Holidays: Closed

Friday: 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm
