Bangladeshi Artists Join Hands with Malaysian Counterparts in “Pink Jambu 2.0” International Art Exhibition Promoting Peace and Unity

Shah Alam, Malaysia In a powerful showcase of international artistic collaboration and cultural diplomacy, “Pink Jambu 2.0” an international art exhibition celebrating peace and friendship was officially inaugurated at CMTHub, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia.

The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Md. Shameem Ahsan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia, and Ms. Mosammat Shahanara Monica, Minister of Politics at the Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia. Distinguished academic leaders from UiTM, including Dr. Syahrul Fitri Musa, Head of CMTHub, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Idaya Husna Mohd, Director of International Affairs, was also in attendance, alongside a vibrant community of international artists and guests.

The exhibition marks a landmark partnership between Malaysia’s iconic Pink Jambu female artist group and Bangladesh’s National Sculpture Gallery (NSG) Artists Group, officially supported by CMTHub, UiTM. A total of 74 artists from seven countries Bangladesh, Malaysia, Poland, India, Czech Republic, South Korea, France, and Slovakia are participating, offering a diverse tapestry of visual art centered on the theme “World Peace and Friendship.”

Curated by Bangladeshi artist Md Imran Hossen, the exhibition promotes cultural exchange and artistic unity.

In a brief speech, Md Imran Hossen stated:

> “Pink Jambu 2.0 is a celebration of what connects us art, empathy, and peace. Through the color pink, we tell stories of tenderness, hope, and harmony. This collaboration breaks barriers and brings artists together from across the world to inspire unity through creativity.”

The exhibition stands as a testament to the power of art to foster dialogue, build bridges, and promote global peace.

CMT Hub, UiTM Shah Alam in collaboration with Pink Jambu 2.0 proudly invites artists from Bangladesh, Malaysia, and [Other Country] to participate in a prestigious international exhibition dedicated to fostering peace, friendship, and unity through art.
