In this year’s Federal Budget, the Government announced that the $20,000 Instant Asset Write-Off will be made permanent for eligible small businesses with a turnover under $10 million.

That means qualifying artwork under $20,000 may provide both a visual impact and a potential tax benefit.*

Fresh from her Dunsborough studio, a new collection of handcrafted ceramics by Toni Salmon has arrived at the gallery.

Working in small batches, Toni embraces the slow and considered process of hand-building with clay, transforming raw materials into pieces that are both functional and sculptural. Through carving, texture, and intricate surface detail, she creates works that invite touch and celebrate individuality.

Discover new works in the gallery by Josh Windram.

Created from his South West home studio, each canvas emerges through an intuitive process - responding to colour, movement, and emotion as they naturally unfold. This instinct-led approach gives Josh’s work their distinctive sense of energy, balance, and harmony.

Deeply influenced by the landscapes of both Japan and Australia, Kayo Yokoyama’s intricate glass works explore ideas of belonging, memory and connection to place.

Her distinctive etched trees — recurring throughout her practice — reflect both real landscapes and symbolic expressions of identity, growth and homeland.

Combining delicate engraving with sculptural form, each piece reveals layers of detail, light and reflection that shift with perspective and environment.

New works by Ming-Se Wu have arrived in the gallery.

Layered with vibrant colour, delicate detail and quiet storytelling, Ming-Se’s acrylic paintings transform everyday objects into poetic compositions. Drawing inspiration from Japanese Kokeshi dolls, flowers and birds, her still life works feel both nostalgic and contemporary.

Each carefully balanced arrangement invites the viewer to slow down and appreciate the beauty found in simple moments and treasured objects.

Now showing in the gallery — original paintings by Larry Mitchell

Growing up along the coast of Northampton, Western Australia, Mitchell developed a deep connection to the sea through fishing, diving, and beachcombing the rugged west coast. That lifelong relationship with landscape and environment continues to shape his powerful large-scale realist works today.

His work carries a deep environmental purpose, capturing the beauty and fragility of the natural world through striking detail and atmosphere.

These two original works are available to view in the gallery - or through our website : www.yallingupgalleries.com.au
