This little fella came to the Museum from a large donation relating to the HYNES family.

We capture all sorts of information about an item when it comes into our collection - and in the case of this toy, we've noted that there are 17 black, 19 blue, 17 green and 24 red blocks in the car.

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Colin Barnard.

Through his tireless research and writing efforts, Colin shed light on the varied aspects of Yackandandah's past, and his work has left an indelible mark on our community.

We are forever grateful for his contributions and will always remember him as a passionate advocate for our history and culture.

We take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through his extensive writings on the history of Yackandandah and surrounds, and this invaluable work will continue to inspire future generations of historians and researchers.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Colin's family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Col, and thank you for all that you've done.
