Pop down tomorrow morning at the The WAM for morning tea at 11am to meet the Artist: Chris Kunko.
Hear Chris speak about his recent works; they are "Chris's observations of repeated memories banked in experiences of life and death.
Moments in his life born from coastal beaches as a child until moving to Western Plains, NSW 13 years ago. The past two decades Kunko's practice has been portraiture and landscape, using only pallet knife application within techniques of impasto oil painting. This latest body of work Kunko has incorporated a different style of mark making. Some images have been painted solely with brushes, but all are seascapes."
