Looking for something to do this Sunday? Head to Preston Beach for the Annual Spring Fete at the Preston Beach Golf Club!

There’ll be plenty happening throughout the day with great food, live music, mini golf, train rides, face painting, local stalls and even a fire truck for the kids to check out. 🚒

💜⚓ Well, that escalated quickly!

A photo of Mooriel dressed to cheer on Freo found its way onto a Dockers fan page … and today, while the Channel 7 News crew was filming in Collie, someone told them about a certain dressed in purple and white.

Next thing we knew, Channel 7 was heading our way - make sure you check out the video in the comments 🤣

With very little notice, we rounded up a couple of fab Freo fans and a few randoms who spotted a TV camera and couldn’t resist joining in!

Keep an eye on tonight at 5:30 as Waroona and Mooriel might just make an appearance.

And as for tomorrow night .... GO FREO! 💜⚓

We were delighted to meet self-described Mooriel SuperFan Nic Austin from Bunbury (left), who never misses a chance to catch up with . Also pictured is new fan Jeanette who was charmed by Mooriel's wizardry🔱.

Swing by for a photo and tag us, then step inside to discover art and craft, unique gifts and local produce, pick up maps and guides, and talk with our friendly locals for inspiration on adventures, attractions and hidden gems around Waroona.

🚨🧡SES Cow Patrol!🧡🚨
All through May, Mooriel is proudly wearing orange in support of SES volunteers and WOW Day (Wear Orange Wednesday) on May 20.

From storms and floods to searches, road crash rescues and bushfire support, SES volunteers step up when communities need help most. Across WA, these volunteers give countless hours helping keep communities safe.

As we head toward winter storm season, WA SES Murray Volunteer Unit is encouraging everyone to get prepared before the wild weather arrives.

⛈️A few simple things can make a huge difference:
✅ Clear gutters and downpipes
✅ Trim overhanging branches
✅ Secure loose outdoor items
✅ Check roofs for damage or leaks
✅ Make sure drains are clear
✅ Have torches, batteries and emergency contacts handy

SES units are always looking for more community-minded volunteers. Training is provided, friendships are formed, and there are many ways to help, from frontline response and rescue support through to communications, logistics and admin roles.

Mooriel and the gang at the Waroona Visitor Centre would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter.

We’d love you to stop in while you’re out and about. The gallery is full of fabulous art, craft and produce from over 50 local creatives, and we’ve got plenty of information to help you plan your day trip or stay. 🗺️

Mooriel’s gone the eggstra mile and during opening hours she’ll have the Easter Bunny along for the ride, so it’s a great chance to grab a photo.
