My last Art lesson with kindergarten, I modelled they loved it! We talked about the role of the sitter and the artist, we discussed line, shape and colour. They were adamant to make sure I remained still as they drew from observation my legs crossed perched on a stool with a smile and earrings of course. Art Express is opening this weekend at the Bondi Pavilion marking the end of the 2026 season. Last Friday evening this little s***k who was reluctant to enter her ‘Colourful Mumma’ into the ‘Let’s Hang It’ 2026 UNESAP Acquisitive Art Prize where only 60 finalists were chosen from 700 entries across 43 schools in the region was surprised to see her work once again win the Primary Division and go through to be a part of UNE’s permanent art collection. Nanna Tim we will grace those walls together for a long time to come. So proud of you little creative one.

Such a wonderful mother/daughter day where we immersed ourselves into the exhibition ‘Sensorial’ A fully immersive exhibition embracing all the senses. Move beyond sight. The Meraki exhibition also a must celebrates creativity, passion and love through contemporary lace art. Inspired by the Janice Jones Lace Collection in Uralla, Meraki blends immersive sound and projection with sculptural and wearable works by Australian and New Zealand artists and showcases centuries-old techniques reimagined for today.
