Jane Ihara Art Gallery Art Jane Ihara was born and grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and was inspired by her artistic Japanese mother, Toshie.

She moved to Australia in 1986, and settled in Malua Bay and raised a family of 4 boys. Jane is a versatile artist painting in several different mediums with a definite style of her own. Her creative use of colours and spontaneous brushwork is evident throughout her work.
