Some time back when I was liaising with the At General on the prohibited symbols- Drufus was the At Gen then who introduced the prohibited symbol legislation - He cocked up the legislation, then released information contray.

He didnt include islamic flag (isis) at request islamic organizations

Now look -

Schedule 1 Amendment of Crimes Act 1900 No 40
Schedule 1 inserts proposed section 93ZB to make it an offence to knowingly display, without a
reasonable excuse, a prohibited terrorist organisation symbol by a public act. The maximum
penalty for the offence is—
(a) for an individual—200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both, or
(b) for a corporation—1000 penalty units

Notice on Cat C collectors applications

WLG are rejecting Cat C unless you go to town on the rationale. they recommend deacs - which is crap.

Deacs are not generally collectable for a dedicated collector as no license is required.
You cannot examine proof marks and workings of cat C in a deactivated firearm.
Deactivated arms have limited investment potential

In your application cover your involvement and interest to the maximum.
Cover interests in the patents, makers and aspects of use.
Cover attending gun shows where you take interest in Cat C.
Discuss things like progression of patents and manufacture and how aspects of cat C are incoorporated into modern arms.

If you get a rejection notice - consider QCAT. Also look at submitting a form 4B change condition and category with expanded information. It only costs a few dollars.
