Wollondilly Heritage Centre & Museum The Wollondilly Heritage Centre & Museum is run and staffed by volunteers from The Oaks Historical Society Volunteers assist with museum and tourism activities.

The Wollondilly Heritage Centre & Museum is run and staffed by volunteers from The Oaks Historical Society. Opening Hours: Every weekend and public holiday from 10 am to 3 pm. We are closed from Christmas until Australia Day and also on Good Friday. Mid-week tours are welcome by pre-booking with the Booking Officer on 4657 1204. A special program Discover your Heritage includes a home cooked Devonshire tea, DVD presentation and museum tour. Cost $10 per person. Friendly volunteers welcome visitors to the Museum and Shop. Devonshire teas are served on shady verandahs. Primary schools can book for a Hands-on-History interactive tour which is geared to the school curriculum. Cost is $6 per student plus GST. Allow approximately two hours for the best result. A barbecue is available for self catered lunches. We pay respect to the Elders and Traditional Owners of this land – past, present and future – for they have the wisdom, stories and memories which we all need to know about This Land.

Our school holiday program is underway today!
The children are making cream, eating pikelets, washing on a washboard, sorting apples and eggs, listening and painting about First Nations stories and going back to school the old fashioned way!
Lots lot fun and laughs with Hands on History at The Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum.

We are opening all this long weekend from 10-3pm. Saturday,Sunday and Monday our volunteers are ready to welcome you!

A big shout out to our volunteers who worked tirelessly over the weekend to make our Traditional Trade and Craft Fair such a success.

I didn’t get photos of all our volunteers but your presence was very much appreciated.
We had so many complimentary comments from the public it was worth all the work! You should all be proud of what you achieved over the weekend. A wonderful organisation to be a part of! Grateful.
