Today is International Tea Day according to the United Nations! You can have it black, milky, herbal or iced. Maybe you prefer tea in a mug, teacup or glass! Which ever way you like it, it is refereshing, social and sometimes a very special event. According to Samuel Pepys in 1660...'Tea is one of the mainstays of civilisation in his country' (England)
We have many ways you can enjoy tea at the Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum. Come and have a cuppa with us at the weekend when we are open between 10am and 3pm.

This week we hosted a workshop on “LibraryThing" at our Museum, attended by members of the Picton Historical Society and Camden Historical Society. The workshop explored new ways to catalogue and share our resources and will help us make our reference library and collection more accessible to the broader community, researchers and local history groups. We would like to thank Marlane Fairfax from Picton Hist Soc for organising and Kevin Dodds from Friends of Parramatta Female Factory for presenting such an informative presentation.
