Built in 1928, the Texas Rabbit Works is the last rabbit processing works remaining in Australia. Venture back in time, learn about the feral rabbit industry and the role it played in local and Australian history. The Texas Rabbit Works is an intact example of the struggle to control the rabbit plague and the industry that was developed as a result. The Texas Rabbit Works is a must-see on your visit to Texas and the wider Goondiwindi Region.

Today we celebrated our valued volunteer Alan (Bronco) Thompson’s 90th birthday with his family and friends.
Stephanie his daughter gave a heart wrenching speech to her father.
Thank you to his well trained offsiders Owen and John for starting his treasured motor.
A huge thank you to Margaret for the amazing cake and to everyone who assisted with the day.
