I got new face holes in the form of nose rings yesterday!! Pretty unpleasant to get them done,but I love them!!

Now... here's where I need to say something....

I have been getting assorted bits pierced for decades. This isn't a new thing.
But even if it were, I get pretty riled up when the comments of, "you are too old for that" and "so the midlife crisis has hit hasn't it?"
Ffs.
Just because you reach a certain age, suddenly you are expected to not do the things that make you happy...because you are no longer 18.
Well..f**k that.

I say, if you want the piercing get the piercing. If you want the tattoo, get the tattoo. If you want to sit in your jammies and watch cartoons all fu***ng day, do it.

Refuse to let anyone else stipulate what you are permitted to do with your own self, based on the number of years you have been on the earth.

It's a bit ridiculous.

Not everyone likes what I like, and that is totally fine. Tell me you don't like it? That is also fine..I really don't care. But don't base it on age. That is irrelevant and insinuates that I am too old to have some fun.
Which is pretty mean. 😠🤪😂

So...rant over...
I am going to lather up my aching, aged joints with Voltaren, pop some ibuprofen and find my reading glasses..coz my eyes are watering typing this without them.
