HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY. This week, Under the Greenwood Tree celebrates one year in our new location at Shop 1, 4 Main Street Tamborine Mountain. It was on 16 April last year that we first opened the doors to our new premises.

The address may have changed, but the same personal and friendly service has continued without pause. A huge thank you to all our customers who have helped make this relocation a positive experience every day.

If you are looking for birthday gifts for the important people in your life, you can’t go past a visit to Under the Greenwood Tree. We stock a wide range of books and literature across all popular genres. You will also find jigsaws and puzzles, beautiful gift cards, wrapping paper, and elegant notebooks and stationery.

And the gallery has exquisite art and painting, ceramics and pottery, and jewellery from talented local artists. The current Monte Lupo exhibition — SUNFLOWERS — is not to be missed. A new exhibition will be opening in time for the Tamborine Mountain Arts Trail over the May long weekend.

Please enjoy this journey back through some of the highlights of the past 12 months in our new location. And remember, if you are looking for the ideal birthday gift for that someone special in your life, you will surely find something that suits them at Under the Greenwood Tree.

We had a wonderful afternoon last Saturday for the opening of the Monte Lupo exhibition, Sunflower’s . Having April, Nathan, Peter, Michael and Brendan from Monte Lupo at the opening gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the process of making the sculptures and to talk with the makers. They also delivered a few extra pieces that came out of the kilns late so were not included in the original Facebook posts. Two gorgeous flat girls and large planter heads.
The exhibition is on show until April 30th so come and have your spirits lightened.🌻
