First established in 1982 doors opened to the public in 1987, Old Tailem Town is now Australia's largest pioneer village in Australia, visited by tourists all over the world! Come for an hour or a day, have a cup of tea or coffee with the friendly staff and see what life was like for the settlers of South Australia from 1860 - 1960. There are over a hundred and ten buildings for you to visit, all
furnished within their periods in their most natural locations. So come up and spend a day wandering around the village and maybe show the kids what life was like all those years ago! We are PET FRIENDLY so dont forget to bring your four legged mates, they are more than welcome to walk around with you in the village. We just ask you to please bring your poop bags for clean up and have your pet on a leash. Adult - $28
