287 Mona Vale Road Terrey Hills Open 7Days 10am-4pm A Japanese Mizuya Dansu, or kitchen chest. Originally made in two sections, this is the upper section. Crafted during the Meiji Period, around the late 1800s, it features beautiful Hinoki cypress and Elm timbers on the front, with a Japanese Cedar case and hand-forged copper cresent moon handles. Traditionally used for storing kitchen wares, today it makes a stunning sideboard, TV unit, or storage piece in a dining room or kitchen—perfect for glasses, candles, table linen, and entertaining essentials.
