Momentum Built is excited to announce that we have completed Casino Memorial Olympic Pool and the official opening is this Saturday 23rd September 2023.

If you are local to the area, come down and cool off for a free family fun day from 9am. Take a look at this video, where some Casino Amateur Swimming Club members got an early look at the amazing new facility.

**PROJECT STATUS UPDATE**

One of our valued team members was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He however received some good news last week that it has not spread so he is in a very good position to make a full recovery.

Obviously the C word is a scary one and we all are behind him in his battle. In an effort to support him and to help raise money and awareness for prostate cancer I have started a Movember.

It is the second most common cancer in men worldwide and its quite often not until you have a friend, family member or colleague with prostate cancer that you learn this statistic. Lets help to change this number by raising some money and increasing awareness.

Momentum Built is thrilled to have been awarded the construction of a new Gerringong Library and Museum (GLaM) incorporating the historic School of Arts on Blackwood Street, Gerringong for Kiama Municipal Council.

The $3.2 million project involves constructing a brand-new library behind the School of Arts, which is being restored and converted to house the museum.

The restored School of Arts building will house the collection of the Gerringong and District Historical Society.

The library wing will provide flexible spaces for programs and events such as story time, author talks and book group meetings.

The library and museum buildings will share a foyer and gallery space, as well as meeting rooms, kitchen and amenities.

These shared areas have been designed to host community activities both during and after hours.

The School of Arts will be restored with roof sheeting and galvanised wall cladding to be replaced and repaired.

The library will use corrugated steel wall, timber cladding and corrugated steel roofing.

The GLaM will include decking and paving, with landscaping of trees and shrubbery.

The car park will include the existing 17 off-street spaces and an additional 20 spaces at the back of the building.

The building and car park will all be fully accessible. The facility will also use photovoltaics for its power.

Momentum Built is excited to announce that we have been awarded the civil and frontage works at Cronulla SLSC. Adding onto the extensive scope we are already undertaking on this landmark site, the works consist of a new concrete lookout platform including concrete bench seating areas and new sandstone structure around landscape areas. It also includes the construction of new access road and concrete footpaths on the southern side of the surf club.
