We offer Ancient History and History school incursion programs in the Sydney region. NSW curriculum-based programs with an emphasis on object-based and active learning. Studying the Past is a the education and outreach initiative of the Department of History and Archaeology at Macquarie University. Our programs provide student with enriching and engaging experiences that foster students’ interests

in the study of world history. Our team of educators possess a diverse set of skills, experiences and expertise in a variety of fields ranging from Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs to the history of science. Educators are researchers at Macquarie University with experience in teaching and archaeological fieldwork, and most importantly are passionate about passing on their enthusiasm for history with students.
