Managed by the Arts and Cultural industry professionals at , AD Space is here to help you learn how to professionally exhibit the products of your passion. AD Space is an Artist Run Initiative led by and for the Arts, Design and Architecture student community of UNSW. Whether you're an artist or an engineer, AD Space is here to help you learn how to professionally exhibit the products
of your passion. Since 2017, we have been here to guide any keen UNSW students through the unique process of realising, designing, managing, installing and celebrating their dream exhibitions. AD Space is a physical, permanent, white cube style gallery space situated within UNSWADA's Paddington campus. We are operated by Arc Creative - UNSWADA's largest student and alumni led organisation - and managed by experienced Arts and Culture industry professionals. We are transparently non-for-profit, with 100% of any exhibition earnings directly funding AD Space's ongoing maintenance and resources for future exhibitions. As one of the only non-institutionally managed university galleries in Sydney, it is our mission to facilitate a uniquely welcoming, accessible, and supportive professional gallery. The exhibitions we select as part of our exhibition program reflect our commitment to community. Our exhibition program is solely selected by AD Spaces community, achieved through engagement with the Kudos Committee. They collectively curate each callouts' selection of exhibitions to reflect AD Spaces artistic vision of celebrating our community's diverse cultures, histories, beliefs and practices in thought-provoking, engaging, and experimental artwork and exhibition approaches. Exhibitions are then passed onto the AD Space Coordinator, who signs off on the selections based only on whether AD Space is able to practically facilitate each approved concept. We hope to compliment the creative courses UNSWADA offers by internally providing our community with behind the scenes access to industry practices. This way not only do you get to have fun learning how to plan and install an exhibition in a non-judgemental, experimental space, you also get to build up your confidence and experience before you graduate into the great vastness of post-university professional life!
