Many of the many wonders of Spencer. Visitation from the Glossy Black Cockatoos seeking out the seeds of the forest she-oak (allocasuarina torulosa). Listed as Vulnerable in NSW due to loss of habitat. These cockatoos only eat from the casuarina species and forest casuarinas are their favourite due to the size of the cones. Adult female, adult male, and juvenile.
