NEWK - The John Newcombe Story is a play about one of Australia’s greatest sportsmen.

Written by award-winning playwright Kieran Carroll and performed by Melbourne actor Paul Armstrong, NEWK follows John Newcombe from schoolboy to world No. 1 tennis player.

Expect plenty of laughs along the way from Cinzano, bananas, Canon cameras and K-Tel tennis albums.

Funny, moving and a rollicking ride through the era.

Are you a talented local duo, trio or band? 🎸

We're looking for acts to play at Lakeside Sounds, our new summer live music series by the lake.

This free community event runs every Friday night from 8 January to 26 February 2027, alternating each week between Toronto Foreshore and Warners Bay Foreshore.

Each act will receive a set fee of $2,200.

At its heart is a rich amber hue - a 589-nanometre wavelength used as a compromise colour where artificial light is unavoidable, minimising harm to plant, animal and human life.
