Hunter Fighter Collection

Hunter Fighter Collection Dedicated to preserving and displaying historic Warbirds, at Scone NSW. Hunter Fighter Collection Inc.

(HFC) is an Australian not-for-profit dedicated to preserving and showcasing Australia’s military aviation history. We restore and own iconic warbirds—like the Spitfire X4009—to honour the legacy of those who designed, built, maintained, and flew them in times of war and peace. Based at the Hunter Warbirds Aviation Museum in Scone, NSW, HFC curates Australia’s largest flying collection of heritage

fighter and trainer aircraft. We share these rare aircraft with the public through museum displays, airshows, and educational programs—keeping aviation history alive for future generations. As a registered charity, HFC relies on public donations and the work of passionate volunteers and aviation experts. Every contribution helps us restore, maintain, and fly these historic aircraft. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia.
