Sister galleries at Quest Hotel on Townsend in Albury, Club Savoy in Myrtleford and The Plough Inn at Tarrawingee have joined Rutherglen Estate to create the North East Aboriginal Art Trail. With some 200 artworks on display it is the largest private Aboriginal art gallery in Australia. Aboriginal Exhibitions is the sole Victorian and regional NSW representative of the 26 artists of Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation.

Heath is the son-in-law of Clifford Possum. I first met Heath in 1996, and although he learned his techniques from the master he has developed his own unique style.

Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation artist Patrick Butcher Jnr is my favourite colour field artist. His practice of applying paint solely with his palms and fingers sets his paintings apart. He does not use brushes. The layering of colours and textural quality of his works is sublime.

This selection of smaller and medium scale pieces is available for sale together with a number of Patricks' large works.
