We're open again tomorrow with our awesome blacksmiths in attendance from 12 noon 'till 3pm.
For something different, we'll be clearing out our small storage room. There will be a number of items that are surplus to needs or not relevant to the museum. Feel free to pick up something in exchange for a donation you think appropriate.
Hope to see you there.

A huge Happy 87th Birthday to Brian. Alongside his wife Margaret, he is our longest serving volunteer at the Scholz Park Museum. You may recall they both won the Riverton Australia Day award for Community Hero in 2025.
Enjoy the rest of your day Brian and thank you again for all you do for our museum and the community in general.

Wow, how good does this look? We needed more room inside and the only way was to move some items outside where the public can view them. This is the result.
A huge thank you to all involved. A special thank you to our committee members that have worked on the paving, storm water and the mesh screens. An awesome job by all.

It seems a long time since we were last open because of the change of weekend last month. However, we're back to normal and open tomorrow. A perfect winters day for watching our talented blacksmiths at the original forges of the Scholz Park Museum. Hope to see you.

Well, tomorrow marks the end of an era at the Riverton Hotel with Annie and John moving on to retirement. Scholz Park Museum and the Riverton Hotel have supported each other well over the years and a recent generous donation of $1000 from the Hotel is allowing us to build and fit mesh guards to our new outdoor display area. Unfortunately it is still work in progress so we don't have any photos as yet.
Our committee would like thank both Annie and John for their support and wish them all the best for their retirement. 🥂🥂🍺🍺
