Artist Katherine Moeller;

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Kathrine Moeller has lived in Africa, Germany, and Sweden before settling in Australia in 2002. Her relocation to the southern hemisphere marked a significant evolution in her artistic practice, opening new pathways for exploration, experimentation, and professional exhibition.

Now based on the Gold Coast hinterland, the surrounding landscape continues to profoundly influence both her life and work.
Kathrine's mixed media practice centres on representations of women across cultures and time. Drawing inspiration from classical and global mythology, theatrical history, traditional circus, cabaret, and fairytales, her work explores femininity through layered narratives.

Recent works juxtapose vintage and historical female figures with distinctly Australian landscapes, flora, and fauna.
Combining painting with textiles and paper collage, Kathrine creates richly detailed, luminous compositions with a strong decorative sensibility.

Her work is exhibited regularly in Brisbane and across Queensland and New South Wales.

Artist Joolie Green;

My practice reflects the key stages of my life-from the enchantment of childhood fairytales to the influence of formal art history. Themes of romance and dramatic narrative often recur in my work, while periods of abstraction have also provided meaningful exploration.

Primarily working with oil on canvas, I aim to create a sense of magic
realism by placing figures in unexpected or dreamlike settings. While
painting remains my greatest passion, I also enjoy life drawing,
sketching, collage, and the earthy, tactile process of raku pottery.
My creative process is deeply influenced by books, music, nature, and history. I draw inspiration from a wide range of artists: the vibrant
scenes of David Hockney, the brooding intensity of Edvard Munch, and the playful patterns of Yayoi Kusama, among many others.

Through my work, I strive to spark imagination, evoke wonder,
and -perhaps as an added gift-offer a form of time travel through art.
