Alexandra James Found this online, amazing!

Continuing with the fishing theme.
Titled: Netted lagoon, Yellowtail Kingfish? Double Island Point.
Date unknown.
But from the clothing, you'd have to think, early 1900's?

What are your thoughts?

Could this be taken in 1984?

This is an aweome aerial of the Rainbow Beach Surf Club, showing the evolution of the main street too.

"The back section was the first extension of this building. There was a previous building before that one.

The dormitory was at the front of the building until the extension, where they were then put."

Thank you so much to Kirsty for this gem!

Driving from Noosa North Shore to Double Island Point in 1930 or 31.
I've read Henry paid 12 pounds for the second hand Model T Ford in 1930.

Sitting behind the wheel of the Ford is the owner, Henry Mallett. Pictured from left are: Joe Hooper, Henry Mallett, V. Ross, B. H. Campbell and Naher Buttress.

A long time local resident told us about the time the Blue Stratos crew came to film an ad here! We had a bit of a search around and found this little video.

What do you think?
That could be off the Carlo Sand Blow.
Anyone else remembers anything about it?

Cheers.
