🌿 Montezuma Falls Walking Track Closure 🌿

Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service have advised that Montezuma Falls Walking Track will be closed to the public from Monday 25 May 2026 until Friday 29 May 2026.

The closure will allow repair work to be carried out by contractors on a slip that has affected the walking track. Contractors will be utilising heavy machinery to carry out the work.

🚙The Ring River and Montezuma four-wheel drive tracks will also be closed for a short period of time.

We know you're keen to pull on the walking boots and chase our waterfalls, so here's some other options:

☑️Horsetail Falls, Queenstown
☑️Nelson Falls, Lyell Highway
☑️Stitt Falls, Rosebery
☑️Hogarth Falls, Strahan

We're spoilt for choice for walks and waterfalls on the West Coast - check out https://westcoasttas.com.au/listings/walks for more info.

For further information about the closure please contact the West Coast Field centre on 6409 1020 or via email [email protected]

🌟 Connecting with Industry: Hospitality Tasmania Regional Roadshow

Our West Coast Visitor Information Centre team recently attended the Hospitality Gateway to Growth event hosted by Hospitality Tasmania in Strahan.

This engaging session brought together industry professionals to connect, share ideas and explore opportunities for growth across Tasmania’s hospitality sector. It was a fantastic chance to meet the Hospitality Tasmania Board, connect with their dedicated team, and network with corporate partners and peers from across the region.

Events like these are a valuable reminder of the importance of collaboration and staying connected within our industry with our team also getting updated about what is on offer from operators - all helping to us to provide quality visitor servicing.

Thank you to Hospitality Tasmania for hosting the event 👏
