We're two days away from Stephen William's 'Vivid - Sydney' Exhibition!

Stephen Williams’ cityscapes and figurative works give visual form to the complexities of contemporary life. His main subject is the modern city - dark, seductive, beguiling.

“My art is a visual diary, a very personal record of my thoughts and emotions, viewed through the detached lens of depersonalisation.
My interest lies in the torment of the human experience. I am intrigued by the contrasts and contradictions; glamour and grit, beauty and decadence, loveliness and loneliness.
To me, the work represents a search for belonging, identity and sense of place."

Your first look at our upcoming exhibition:
'Vivid - Sydney' by Stephen Williams

Stephen captures the modern city in moments of shifting light — where dusk, storm and night transform the familiar into something atmospheric and uncanny. Through fractured lines, moody colour palettes and a balance between representation and abstraction, his works evoke both tension and quiet longing.

Artist Spotlight on Alex Giles

Born in rural Northumberland and now based in Manchester, Alex Giles trained in Fine Art at the University of Derby before working in film as a Production Designer. During lockdown, he shifted fully into painting, quickly gaining international recognition through sold-out exhibitions and museum acquisitions.

Giles’ work moves between structure and spontaneity, where geometry meets organic gesture and bold colour fields take on a vivid, emotional energy.
