Prospect Hill Historical Museum The Prospect Hill Historical Museum offers visitors a unique glimpse into the past. In the Ann Russell Home you will see the artefacts from about 1840 - 1940.

Visit the old school house and imagine sending your children to be taught in this building. In the Ash Wednesday building you can see the result of this devastating fire on our small community. In the cellar there are various items from the mining activities at Jupiter Creek and along Blackfellow Creek. In the dairy you can see the progression from hand milking to mechanical. The foyer area shows

the original telephone exchange which finally closed in 1972. At the top of the hill in the Flag Tree Engine House which houses an assortment of early primitive engines, timber cutting items, ploughs, carts, buggies and an early horse drawn stripper which has been converted to tractor power take off. All this and more only 7km from Meadows, South Australia.
