A big thank you to everyone who attended the opening night of latest exhibition 'Above & Below'. It was such a pleasure hosting the opening night and was great to see the familar faces of Don's art collectors! His collection of semi-originals turned out so beautiful and the variety and colour is amazing.

We couldn't do it without your support and the support of our sponsors; who graciously supplied the space, staff, beautiful prints, framing and delicious drinks! Forever grateful for their contributions to our arts community 🫶

We also had the movie premiere night of Don's documentary 'Beyond The Red Door', we had a popcorn machine, bubbles, and yummy food! Everyone loved the movie and the insight Don gave into his career and artist life.

Join us for the Join us for a special and exclusive Perth premiere of Beyond The Red Door on Thursday 22nd May, 6:00pm - 8:30pm at Creative Edge Art Collective.

As part of the Donald James Waters OAM 'Above and Below' exhibition, we are honoured to present Benjamin Dervish-Ali's moving documentary exploring the life and work of celebrated artist Donald James Waters OAM. Previously screened only on the Gold Coast, this will be the first time the film has been shown in Perth.

To make the evening even more special, Don will be personally joining us via live stream at the beginning of the night to welcome guests and share a few words before the screening begins.

Beyond The Red Door offers a rare and intimate insight into Don's life, creative journey, mindset, and the inspiration behind his iconic works. Discover the story of the man behind the famous red door, his artistic process, and the deeper meaning behind why he paints.

Guests will enjoy an elegant premiere evening including freshly made popcorn, champagne on arrival, delicious canapes and the opportunity to experience the exhibition atmosphere before and after the screening

Meet one of the newest members of the collective: Ronèl Koen of !

Ronèl's work is so special, unique and absolutely beautiful, she specialises in Nerikomi-inspired, functional art, influenced and driven by her love of the Nambian landscape and the delicate balance between tone, texture and form.

These two pieces were recently apart of our 'Her Voice' exhibition and it was such a pleasure having Ronèl's work be a part of it. We are so excited to see what else she brings to the space ❤

Join us for the open night of ‘Above & Below’ Exhibition!

Don will live stream on the night being unable to travel. Come and see some new takes on some old favourites with semi original artworks on canvas, fine art paper and special Japanese Washi pearlescent paper, all personalised one of a kind hand-embellished, kindly donated by

The opening night will be held on Thursday 14th May from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be refreshments and nibbles served through the night.

‘Above & Below’ is about the interaction between the figures and the world around them, bringing the feel of summer. The adventures under the waves, the relaxing ocean scenes, and the fun happening on the sand.

Showcasing the beautiful Echoes of Bond collection created by .alloy for our ‘Her Voice’ Women’s exhibition 🤩

Echoes of Bond is a celebration of connection, a collection built on pairs, reflections, and sister pieces that speak to one another. The four-piece collection features two textured silver hoops: one is thinner and understated; the other bolder with delicate charms. Alongside them are two rings, both set with labradorite stones at the centre. Distinguished by their hidden details, one with a star on the back, and the other with a swirl. Each piece mirrors its counterpart, embodying unity, and the quiet strength of bonds that echo between two.
