Wow! Have a look at some of these old Queensland school books! 🧐 Some of these were printed nearly 100 years ago. See how different mathematics was taught in Queensland schools back then at the Mathema Gallery when it opens later this year.

Dr Calvin Irons (Director of Mathema Foundation, Co-Founder of ORIGO Education) will be presenting at the upcoming QAMT (QAMT Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers Inc.) State Conference, joining an amazing array of international, inter-state and local presenters from Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors. This conference is fabulous value, with lots of registration options and with Friday 23 June being all-day virtual, and Saturday 24th Sunday 25th with over 35 workshops and lectures.

Mathema Founders Rosemary and Calvin Irons have worked to build a library of important and rare books related to mathematics. They have collected thousands of books! Rohan and Louis (pictured) are busy getting the contemporary collection prepared and tagged before the books are eventually housed in the Mathema Gallery in Ocean View, Queensland. Whether you're interested in a book full of of fun mathematical puzzles or looking for higher level research material, the large collection has something for everyone!
