ANNOUNCEMENT

It with great sadness the staff an volunteers of the Australian Army Flying Museum acknowledges the passing of former manager and curator Brian Reardon.

Brian’s tenure included times of great change, including the formation of the Australian Army History Unit. He was instrumental in the creation of the Army’s first ever new build museum, and the move from temporary buildings at AAvnTC to the current exhibition space. His stewardship through this period has enabled the staff and volunteers to build upon a sound foundation to create a world class exhibition the Capability can be proud of.

Another event in a big day at the Museum….

Eurocopter Tiger cockpit trainers, 1 Battle Captain and 1 pilot, collected this morning. Both will be interactive displays, a process that will take some time. With luck the cockpits should be on exhibition in around 12 months.
