There are figures in Ukrainian culture, outstanding, majestic, but undeservedly forgotten...whose life paths lead across oceans.
So it is with this talented, eccentric woman and her no less talented husband, whose last refuge today was honored to be found by volunteers of the Ukrainian Museum of Australia.
Maria Malysh - Fedorets and Ivan Martyniuk.
Maria Yevhenivna Malysh-Fedorets is a famous Ukrainian theater actress and singer (mezzo-soprano), who was one of the leading stars of the Ukrainian stage of the early 20th century.
A student of Maria Zankovetska and M. Sadovsky, the first performer of the part of Juno in Mykola Lysenko's "Aeneid".
Her husband is a Ukrainian singer and operetta artist.
Open sources contain information about these talented people who were forced to leave Ukraine, but did not abandon their theatrical activities, thereby enriching the cultural life of the Ukrainian diaspora in Australia.
There are still many unknown pages from their lives that need to be researched, but Ukraine should remember such people and the world should know them!

Є в українській культурі постаті, видатні, величні, але незаслужено забуті...життєві шляхи яких ведуть крізь океани.
Ось так і з цією талановитою, ексцентричною жінкою та її не менш талановитим чоловіком, чий останній прихисток сьогодні мали честь знайти волонтери Українського музею Австралії .
Марія Малиш - Федорець та Іван Мартинюк.
Марія Євгенівна Малиш-Федорець — відома українська актриса театру та співачка (мецо-сопрано), яка була однією з провідних зірок українського сцени початку XX століття. Учениця Марії Заньковецької та М. Садовського, перша виконавиця партії Юнони в «Енеїді» Миколи Лисенка .
Її чоловік - український співак і артист оперети.
У відкритих джерелах є інформіція про цих талановитих людей, які вимушено покинули Україну, але не полишили займатись театральною діяльністю, чим збагатили культурне життя української діаспори Австралії.
Ще багато невідомих сторінок з їх життя, які потребують дослідження, але таких людей має пам'ятати Україна та знати світ!
