Curve Gallery Newcastle, Australia will be a sister space to Curve Liverpool, England. Curve Gallery actively seeks to promote professional practice at an emerging
level. Our art practice and exhibition model is inspired by the ‘gallery without borders ‘ concept. Curve’s vision is to support, engage and expose artists by providing destination creative spaces that offer a direct link between Austr
alia and Europe. Curve’s intended programme will generate an expansive network of international artists and foster opportunities for commissions, collections, residencies and further exhibitions. After receiving critical acclaim throughout the 2008 Liverpool European Capital of Culture year and during the Liverpool Biennials (UK), Curve has successfully continued to curate and promote exciting contemporary work. Curve believes in taking risks and constantly supporting new artists, designers and projects. Curve Gallery Newcastle will also act as a platform for artists talks & presentations, workshops and artist studios. Curve is currently accepting exhibition proposals from Australian artists, curators and art collectives.
