Some weekends at Timeless Textiles just buzz with creativity… On Saturday Ann-Maree Kelly presented her workshop ‘Colour and Stitch’, exploring with her group the impact of colour palettes on mood and message in stitched works.

Yesterday Narelle Sheahan in the Courtyard Creatives series, made sensational imaginative tassels in a free workshop .

At Timeless Textiles, we encourage our interns and emerging artists to interact with the exhibition artworks and we always love to hear what they think... Thank you, Rosie :
" Anne de Nooijer's body of work contains intricate layers of fabric built up to create a narrative that explores various conceptual ideas. An obvious stand out is the large scale textile , “All mine, just for now, just for a little bit”. It is a collection of beautiful colours and intricate textures. The delicate details of the dye are made using natural pigments, creating a soft colour palette. Symbolic imagery invites reflective contemplation on the body, ownership and permanence. Anne’s work is a beautiful balance of aesthetically pleasing imagery and a strong conceptual grounding."
