Yemen Untold Stories explores my Middle Eastern heritage. I was inspired by the vibrant colours and patterns of Yemeni textiles, and I enjoyed exploring and developing triangular shapes which seem to be a recurring pattern throughout the textiles. The result is a dynamic visual image with an appealing retro feel. This work will look fabulous in a range of home or office settings. Available to view at proteanartnz and the gallery shop page

Inspired by the old stone of England and Ireland, Way Back Then explores how the past shapes us but does not completely define us. Botz creates multiple layers and textures to convey the alluring and spiritual power of old stone.
