Tomorrow night! The final Vinylscapes for the year is on at The Goat Gallery in Natimuk and there are still tickets available for the small price of $10/15.

Vinylscapes is a vinyl record listening party where you bring a vinyl record, play a track, and listen to others record selections. It’s a fun and relaxed evening and there are always some great and unusual tracks.

At The Goat, Saturday, October 3, 7-10pm, drinks available at the bar.

Have you got your tickets to Vinylscapes yet? It's the last one for the year, and it will be a blast! Tickets are still only $10-$15, drinks at the bar, and bring your favourite album (or just come along and listen). I hear there's a classic Blondie album in the wings, and if you're lucky (?) some Bay City Rollers. There are always some surprises and amazing treasures to listen to. See you there!

And that’s a wrap! We waved bananas at Sam every time there was a banana for scale, and had w**e, nibbles, and banana cakes to celebrate the end of our journey around the world - looking at The Art of Everywhere Else on our tiny pale blue dot. It was the second last Art of Everywhere Else with the one and only Associate Professor Sam Bowker, and what a treat it was! We spent a lot of time in Japan tonight (with side trips to Korea and China), and while we enjoyed some Sake we learned so much in such a short time about the history of Japanese art and culture (and some linguistics!) And Godzilla!

Next week is the final week - bring a banana and we’ll raise a ‘toast’ to celebrate the end of our wonderful virtual journey around the world. 🍌

Tonight at The Goat Gallery, the Art of Everywhere Else series continues, and this time we are travelling to East Asia - Korea, Japan, and China. From 6pm-7pm, and post lecture discussion and some Sake. 🍶 This is the second-last lecture, so if you’ve been wondering if you should call by you only have two chances left!

These unique online lectures are real-time events, so I cannot share recordings - those are reserved for students enrolled in ART241: Global Art Histories at Charles Sturt University.

All are welcome, so please feel free to share this invitation. ‘The Art of Everywhere Else’ is a unique collaboration between Charles Sturt University and ArtsNational, propping open the door to a remarkable lecture series.

Vinylscapes is back! Saturday 12th September at The Goat.

Bring a vinyl, or choose one from the selection in the gallery and share a track while we all listen with you. We are hoping someone brings some Dolly Parton! (We have some Tim Curry…)

This time you're also invited to bring along a really amazing album cover, and/or... a really BAD album cover! The audience will vote and there will be a prize! So have a dig through your collection of gems (or horrors) and bring them along.
