Once again, thank you to our Sponsors, Stanwell, Murgon Real Estate, Murgon Services Club and BZE. I would also like to thank the Royal Hotel, Total Building, Mitre 10, Gumnut Place and Clothing Collective @87 for donating prizes for our raffle. The Museum once again had a successful day, thanks to the support of our local businesses. Also, thanks again to everyone who had a display and to the community for coming out and making our day a success.

I had a few comments made to me on Heritage Day as to why we do not have a ramp on "Our History" shed. To construct a ramp you need funds. We are applying for grants and have been rejected twice, but we will keep trying. So that we were able to open on Saturday, Roley constructed the landing and steps so that we would have a second access. We understand the need for a ramp and I can assure you that once we have funding, a ramp will be built. Joy

Come out to the Museum and watch our Heritage Trades at work. Blacksmithing, rope making, horseshoeing, the art of whip making, lacemaking, and draught horses on display. You can even have a go at making a copper item for yourself. Handmade craft and jewellery for sale; remember Xmas is not too far away. Horse & cart rides for everyone and Old Macdonald's Farm animals for the children. Canteen, barbecue, damper, and ice cream van all available. Come out for a relaxing day out and support our Museum.
