Aboriginal Art Kgari 3 Sisters Welcome to the home of Kgari 3 Sisters and artworks of Susan Reys.

It’s not often that a post about me as an artist, but more so Kgari 3 Sisters as as my baby, my business.

After 10 years of exhibiting in the Cairns Indigenous Arts Fair, I finally took the leap and applied to showcase in the Artisan Showcase. This is something I’ve never done before and something that made me so nervous, not knowing if my artwork was good enough, and this is something I battle within myself.

This was incredible daunting for me and is why I have taken so long to share this with the people who love, follow and support my work.

So, I am beyond excited to announce, that this year, for CIAF 2026, I have been selected and will be exhibiting as one of the artists in the Artisian Showcase.

I cannot wait to share my artwork with all those attending and thank each and everyone of you who supported and pushed me to just go for it, to take that leap into the unknown.

I absolutely love the rain here in Cairns but it’s always hard when it floods Bushy Creek, which stops me getting to the Port Douglas Markets!

These are some of the pieces that were packed ready to go to Port with me and I thought it was still so important to share them. All of these pieces are currently available and will be at Port this week if not sold before, and of course the rain lets us through!
