For our final Chairlift Chat of the season Tony Harrington joins us for another ride on the NAMA Chairlift. This time he shares his experiences of being at the Nagano Olympics in 1998, snapping the FWT and why he’s excited for its Olympic debut in 2030, and what he’s been up to since finishing his epic defining moments book. So drop in, for a drink, a chat, and the chance to enjoy some of Harro's beautiful images.

Massive thanks to Harro for the last minute call-up when cancellation of the ABOM Mogul Challenge meant that Cooper Woods couldn't join us for the final Chairlift Chat of the season.

This Thursday Winter Olympic Freestyle Trailblazers and Team Buller Riders Nick Cleaver (Moguls Albertville 1992, Lillehammer 1994) and Jono Sweet (Aerials, Nagano 1998) join us on the NAMA Chairlift for our second last Après@NAMA of the season. Bumps, aerials and even a bit of ballet they share some of their stories from World Cup circuit, how they managed the pressure of competing on the Olympic stage and what the early years of Olympic freestyle competition were like compared to today.

Entry is free but donations are appreciated. Doors open 5:30pm and the chat kicks off at 6pm.

We've had a last minute change to our Chairlift Chats line-up for tomorrow night, Seve has had to make a dash to Canberra to see the AIS doc before the National Champs on the weekend so the wonderful Josh and Kat Laney have agreed to join us on the chair. Josh and Kat Laney have spent many years coaching and instructing at Mt Buller with Josh coaching many of our Olympic Mogul stars as groms. They also manage Chumpy's Lodge supporting current and up-and-coming OWIA athletes in their training at Mt Buller. Hear from them as they share their experiences working with our Winter Olympic athletes. Entry is free but donations are appreciated.

Seve de Campo joins us on the NAMA Chairlift this Thursday to share his Winter Olympic stories from Beijing in 2022 and Milano-Cortina in 2026 from racing in –17 with a wind chill factor of –35, to the endurance required to compete in multiple cross-country events across the Winter Olympic Games. As well as competing with his family, his impressive roller ski skills and how he tackled his first marathon.

This Thursday one of the G.O.A.Ts of Australian alpine skiing and triple Winter Olympian Skiing with Steve Lee sits down in the NAMA Chair to share his Winter Olympic stories for at après@NAMA. From growing up at Falls Creek, travelling the world with friends, changing support systems, a World Cup Win and turning pro, hear how his resilience, independence and focus helped him become one of Australia’s best alpine ski racers - while his love for skiing and fun kept him going during and after his racing days.

Doors open 5:30pm for a 6pm chat, entry is free but donations are appreciated and help support the museum. For those who can't make it the chat will be recorded and shared on our YouTube Channel in a few weeks.
